Rotary offers junior and senior high school students a range of opportunities to develop leadership, citizenship, cultural understanding and language skills. Rotary does this through specific club (Interact), award (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), adventure (Adventures in...), and exchange (Rotary Youth Exchange) programs.

In 2017, Halifax Harbourside sponsored 2 students to attend two 5-day Adventures in... programs: Hoang (James) Quach was one of 200 students who attended the Rotary Adventure in Citizenship in Ottawa (Parliament) in May; and Meredith Kent was one of just 24 students who attended the Rotary Adventure in Human Rights in Winnipeg (Cdn. Museum of Human Rights) in August. James and Meredith will speak to the club about their experiences at these two conferences.

We are a diverse and welcoming group, and we’d be honoured if you joined us.  Consider this your invitation!  Come a little early even… People start arriving around 7am for coffee/tea and good conversation.
