Kevin Jolly is the founder and director of I am Potential, a community service project of the Navigators of Canada in the North End of Halifax. I am Potential is an after-school education and mentoring program with a unique approach for inner city youth. I am Potential connects North End junior high youth with university and college student volunteers each week on campus for recreation, a meal, and fun hands-on learning projects in health sciences and engineering. This project grew out of the conviction that a bright future is possible for kids in our city, including those from lower income neighbourhoods, if they can get a post-secondary education and have positive adult role models involved in their lives.

We are a diverse and welcoming group, and we’d be honoured if you joined us.  Consider this your invitation!  Come a little early even… People start arriving around 7am for coffee/tea and good conversation.

To keep our meetings flexible and affordable, we offer 3 choices to cover meeting room and meal costs:

A.  $5 for the meeting, including coffee and tea;
B.  $10 for 'A', plus a Breakfast Sandwich or Yogurt Parfait; or
C.  $18 for 'A', plus the Full Buffet from Elements.
