Adaptive Furniture for the IWK

Chris, Tripta, Rick, Jenn, Clarke, Bob & Dan

On Monday and Tuesday nights every week, members of local Rotary clubs and other volunteers build helpful items requested by therapists for children in the IWK.  The team makes adjustable chairs, support chairs, potty chairs, tables, benches, foot stools, toys, etc. The therapists send work orders for specific items that need to be made for the kids and the team takes the work orders and builds what’s needed.

The time and materials are all donated and the results are rewarding for everyone.  Bosch and Be the Pro recently donated some very useful power tools to benefit this very worthwhile cause.

If you are interested in volunteering on this project, please email Clarke.
